How old to become a bartender?

Hi all,

We've had a few questions about the legal age to become a bartender, so I thought I'd pass them along here. If you're at least 18 years old, you can become a bartender. Of course, there's no upper age limit to becoming a certified bartender...people of all ages are getting into it! Hope that helps. You can check out a state-by-state age chart and some other bartending school FAQs on this page.

Bartending

Hi everyone. Welcome to The Bartending Blog. The purpose of this blog is to offer a way for anyone interested in bartending school to have a forum to ask questions or comments or just post thoughts on bartending. You can check out my bartending site for more information on our bartending courses, including What you will learn at bartending school and Bartending school locations and if you don't see the answer to your questions on the website, come back here (there's a link on the website) and ask me...I'll be happy to answer any questions!

Happy bartending!,

John
